Death Once Held You, Now I Do!

The Father says today,

"You have years filled with yesterdays of battling Saul. You've even been in the cave where I brought him to you and for a moment he saw you- who you truly are, and then he changed his mind but today is a different day. Today that rascal will fall. Today the king of praise arises! You have tried to win that enemy over for too long- I have removed his mantel, don't put on his discarded armor- put on Mine instead. My armor wraps around you and comes forth out of deep speech- the deep recesses of the temple life I have infused within you. It is time you rise as king- open your mouth and declare the truth of who I say you are. You are called to reign in sound, by sight, by your very presence on this earth. I placed My Presence within you to occupy this earth- heaven on earth! Toss the old habits of doubt and lifeless speaking and speak life.

Today you will realize the moments when you speak like Saul and when you speak like David- stop tolerating the ideals of Saul and speak for Me! It isn't the sword you need right now it is a different vocabulary. Look in the mirror and observe My Life flowing through your veins. You may not have known before that it is the life of Saul, a fleshly absorbed life that corrodes the arteries and stops the flow. Be rid of doubt. Be rid of unbelief. Be rid of self-inflicted word wounds- you become no less than the priests of Baal who cut themselves and cried out to the dead gods when you use the language of Saul. That is not your portion. You are of a different caliber of warrior Beloved- speak into your own life My promises, proclaim them as I proclaimed, "It is finished!" on the last moment of the final blood transfusion administered to you on the cross. It is finished.

I proclaim to you today, My Melchizedek Priest, you will no longer be swayed by the sympathies of a rebellious king, who loved his insecurities more than his freedom, but you will embrace who you are and walk out the dynamic, priestly reign as one of My own and in all of the authority as one who calls twelve legions of angels to respond and they obey. You will do greater things than I did because you have greater access to the earth and I travel with you! I am in you, I am before you and I am your rear guard deflecting the arrows behind you! I am there empowering your call and overseeing your rule and reign with great blessing, favor, and abundance. Today you will stop running from Saul, you will turn, face your enemy and refuse to run. You are after My heart, and you have found it! As you put the fleshly rule under My rule, you will rise up and the sound of heaven will burst through the sound barriers of fear, shame, and unbelief. There is always life for you, always redemption and an eternal supply of My love," says the Father, "I am forever for you."

Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah! Romans 5:17 TPT

And I, having received the gift of righteousness do reign as a king in life by Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17 as prayed by Charles Capps in God's Creative Power, pg. 27.)

Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever. Hebrews 7:2-3 NIV
