Why this word is late:
The Father gave me this word and he used the word dorean when he spoke about His gift to us. As I searched out the word, all I could find was the word, Dorian, with an "i" which was described as "one of the ethnic groups among the Helens of Classical Greece." What concerned me, even more, was the negative and sometimes dark descriptions connected with the name or groups called Dorian. There is also wonderful history to be explored of the Dorians, it's not all bad! You can study it here if you feel so inclined.
I have spent all day searching for the meaning and the Father's intention. The last thing I would ever want to do would be to give an incorrect word. What JOY! What PURE DELIGHT when I discovered the true meaning of the word dorean, with an e and not an i.
Yet through his powerful declaration of acquittal, God freely gives away his righteousness. His gift of love and favor now cascades over us, all because Jesus, the Anointed One, has liberated us from the guilt, punishment, and power of sin! Romans 3:24
According to The Passion Translation,
The Greek word for "gift" is dorean, which means “present,” “gift,” “legacy,” “privilege.”
I wanted to make certain that I was understanding correctly, and so I looked it up in the Strongs's and discovered a wealth of meaning: freely, undeservedly. The word dorean is used 9 times in the Bible and it's the 9th day! The Father is so creative with His gifts! Click HERE if you want to further see the usage for the word dorean and see the 9 scriptures that use this same word!
And so, without further delay, I give to you The 9th Day of Christmas!

On the 9th day of Christmas, the Father said to me,
“I have brought Someone with Me to give to you a gift. You don’t have to wait to open your presents. Among the cardboard storage boxes is an overlooked gift- a gift of gifts- let us tarry and sort through the boxes. Open last year's box and try to do what you did last season, and you will find a heavy chiseled law plaque to hang upon your wall. Find another package beneath the weather-logged cardboard and you will find the demolished perspective of an impoverished lifestyle. Find yet another package dreamed of for years of great wealth and you discover only moth-eaten paper that no longer holds value.
"Carefully you search and beneath it all remains a single golden package, wrapped in a silver ribbon and one red chord. Open this package today...and every day. It is a perpetual gift, timeless and enduring- flawless.
"Take one end of the ribbon, and I’ll take the other end,” says the Lord, “and let us open this gift together. Notice the tag! It reads DOREAN, which means present, gift, legacy, privilege. Feel My hand upon yours as we open this gift together. Hear the words escape their resting place, “Behold, the Righteousness of God!” The box is empty.
"It is I, Beloved!!! I am your GIFT of righteousness. I am your PRESENT gift waiting to be opened moment by each precious moment of glory to glory life with Me. My LEGACY of righteousness has been handed down to you-- you have inherited all that I have, all that I am. You have done nothing to earn this gift, nothing good, nothing bad. You cannot maintain this gift either by doing more good. A gift is a gift, given freely without reason and My gifts never require polishing. Receive your PRIVILEGE and feel my love-favor cascade over you because I am Jesus, your Savior, the Anointed One, who has liberated you from the guilt, punishment, and power of sin! Rejoice with Me! And of the red chord, tie it around your wrist as a reminder of My love for you. What more can be said? I love you," says the Father.
Romans 3 (TPT)
Jesus’ God-given destiny was to be the sacrifice to take away sins, and now he is our mercy seat because of his death on the cross. We come to him for mercy, for God has made a provision for us to be forgiven by faith in the sacred blood of Jesus. Vs 25
Where, then, is there room for boasting? Do our works bring God’s acceptance? Not at all! It was not our works of keeping the law but our faith[w] in his finished work that makes us right with God. 28 So our conclusion is this: God’s wonderful declaration that we are righteous[x] in his eyes can only come when we put our faith in Christ, and not in keeping the law. Vs 27-28

....One day, I will publish these words from the Father and create a journal. I had an idea to design a Ribbon Book Marker with a silver/gold metal tag that reads
DOREAN: ~ Present ~ Gift ~ Legacy ~ Privilege ~
It can be removed and tied around the wrist (maybe include a clasp?) or left in the book as a bookmark.
Thank you for waiting for me and thank you Father for Your gift! I LOVE IT!
