"...I was preparing a spacious place for you," says the Father.
First thing this morning, I heard the Father say, "Read Psalm 31."

I have been drawing away and into the arms of the Father, also busy with my family and people I counsel. For those who do not know God, this time is either terrifying, contemplative, or an opportunity to explore lawlessness. Father help us...
...for the sake of your name lead me and guide me. Ps. 31:3
For what is coming next will require that our attention, our affections be on only One. David says it best:
I hate those who cling to worthless idols; as for me, I trust in the Lord. I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not given me into the hands of the enemy
but have set my feet in a spacious place. Ps 31:6-8
During my prayer time, I began to proclaim Psalm 31 over our state, our nation and the world. My prayer changed from first person to include everyone who calls on the name of the Lord.
[We] say, “You are [our] God.” [Our] times are in your hands; deliver us from the hands of [our] enemies, from those who pursue [us]. Let your face shine on your servants; save [us] in your unfailing love. Let [us] not be put to shame, Lord, for we have cried out to you; but let the wicked be put to shame and be silent in the realm of the dead. Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you. In the shelter of your presence, you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues. Psalm 31:16-20
Thank you. Thank you Lord for doing this- thank you for taking us to a spacious place. Thank you Lord for being our dwelling!
Praise be to the Lord, for he showed [us] the wonders of his love
when [we] were in a city under siege. In [our] alarm [we] said, “[We] are cut off from your sight!” Yet you heard [our] cry for mercy when [we] called to you for help.
Love the Lord, all his faithful people! The Lord preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. Ps. 31:20-24
